Idyllic weather and a full field of 200 golfers enjoyed the inaugural March Championship. The 54-hole individual, net stroke play event was played on six different courses – Shaftesbury Glen, Tiger’s Eye, Arrowhead, Meadowlands, Sandpiper Bay, Thistle – and players from 28 states, Italy and Canada participated in the tournament, which was modeled after the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship.
