More than 800 players have descended upon the Grand Strand this week to take part in the 27^th Annual Family Golf Week, with first-round action teeing it up Thursday at Rivers Edge and seven additional award-winning designs throughout the Myrtle Beach area.

For years, most courses in the Myrtle Beach golf market have relied on a “double tee” system to offer its golfers both better control of pace of play, and a wider selection of desirable tee times.
