Fewer than 100 spots are still available for golfers of all skill levels as the 12^th annual Style Driver Fall Classic returns to the Golf Capital of the World® Nov. 17-20, welcoming 700 players of all skill levels to 22 of the best golf courses along the Grand Strand. Golfers will compete over 72 holes with a different format each day. At the end of the week, a lunch will be held for all participants at their host course with the top three finishers in all three flights receiving prizes. There will also be randomly drawn prizes at the luncheon. 

One of two Arnold Palmer signature designs in the area where it’s just you and the elements with no surrounding homes, the West Course at Myrtle Beach National offers room off the tee and a chance to go low if you’re swinging the club well. Thistle Golf Club has completed renovations work on its MacKay nine and is open for fall play, following summer work to restore its greens to their original configuration and replace some key bridge passageways throughout the renowned track.

The Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame welcomed two influential figures into its prestigious ranks when Dr. Bruce Martin and Arthur L. “Max” Morgan Jr. were enshrined during Wednesday’s ceremony at the historic Pine Lakes Country Club. Created in 2008, the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made an indelible mark on the Grand Strand golf industry.
