The 41st annual PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship is accepting final entries through 5 p.m. ET Friday, August 2! A 72-hole, net stroke play tournament, the World Am will be played Aug. 26 – Aug. 30 and more than 3,200 players from across the globe are again expected to participate.

Play Golf Myrtle Beach’s Joe Novak stopped by Arcadian Shores this past week to capture some images at the Rees Jones signature favorite, while David Williams got plenty of pictures by land and by air during his stop at the Arnold Palmer-designed Rivers Edge just across the state line in Shallotte, N.C.

Faithful event participant Terry Prahl and beloved Grand Strand golf executive Steve Taylor were honored Thursday as Co-Fathers of the Year, along with Cindy Harper as Parent of the Year, at a fun-filled Family Golf Night at Barefoot Resort for the  27^th Annual Family Golf Week in Myrtle Beach.
