12 Grand Strand Courses Among Golfweek’s 2025 “Best You Can Play” in the Carolinas; 5 Among America’s Top 200 Resort Courses
Twelve Myrtle Beach-area designs have been named among Golfweek’s Best 2025 in the Carolinas, with The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club once more earning three of South Carolina’s top five selections and Thistle Golf Club earning high honors in North Carolina.
TPC Myrtle Beach and Tidewater Golf Club joined the aforementioned Palmetto State designs to give the Grand Strand five of South Carolina’s top 10 selections. Prestwick, the Moorland and Heathland courses at Legends Golf Resort, the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort, Heritage Club and King’s North at Myrtle Beach National rounded out Golfweek’s top 20 honorees from 2024 returning to this year’s list.

In addition to their statewide honors, five of the aforementioned designs – The Dunes Club, Caledonia, True Blue, Legends-Moorland, and Barefoot-Dye – were included in Golfweek’s 2025 ranking of their Top 200 resort golf courses in the U.S., with Pebble Beach Golf Links and Pacific Dunes at Bandon Dunes topping that list.
