3 Big Things for 2024 We’re Eager to See in the Myrtle Beach Golf Market

The Bryan Bros are one of three things prepared to make a big splash in the Myrtle Beach golf market in 2024

Happy New Year! Not sure it’s acceptable to still say that on Jan. 18, but it applies for this article. 2023 was a big year for the Myrtle Beach golf market. The multitude of golf course renovations, the announcement of the Grand Strand hosting its first-ever PGA TOUR event … you get it. But 2024 is off to a fast start in Myrtle Beach as well.

Here are the three things that I am most looking forward to in the coming months.

The 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic. This is an obvious one, but I’m really excited to see the PGA TOUR here in Myrtle Beach. I’m most curious to see how the pros take on The Dunes Golf & Beach Club. While The Dunes Club can be a stern test for us mere mortals, I think the pros are going to slice and dice that place up with some deep red numbers.

There’s something BIG on the horizon related to this event, but I’m not yet at liberty to speak on it publicly. So stay tuned to PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com for more info on this!

Sea Trail Renovations. Sea Trail Golf Club was purchased in 2023, and remodeling work is already underway. The clubhouse, convention center, pub, and golf courses will all be getting a face lift. Sea Trail has already posted a video of its new restaurant, 55 Bistro Bar. We’re gonna have to get up there for a round and a meal because it looks phenomenal!

The Bryan Bros Partnership. Earlier this week we announced that we have signed a promotional deal with George and Wesley Bryan. The two University of South Carolina products will be in Myrtle Beach a lot this year filming content for their YouTube channel. I caught up with them during their round at Caledonia last week, and they could not be more excited. You’re going to see and hear a lot from them this year!

2024 is going to be a whirlwind of a year, and we cannot wait to experience it along with you! A little PSA for everyone planning a trip to Myrtle Beach:

Start planning NOW! The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get those desired tee times!
