4 New Post-Round Microbreweries & Distilleries in the Myrtle Beach Area

There are lots of places along the Grand Strand to get a post-round brew or drink, but if you’re emphasis is on a craft beer or spirit, we’ve got four venues that are relatively new to the Grand Strand that you’ll want to be sure to check out as part of your next Myrtle Beach golf getaway!

Twelve 33 Distillery, 593 SC-90 E, Little River – A small-production, craft distillery just north of North Myrtle Beach (Highway 90 and Highway 17), this is a “grain to glass” concept that specializes in using locally sourced ingredients that not only reflect the local culture but also allow for innovative products. Their specialty spirits come in various vodka, whiskey, gin and rum offerings, and are available for on-site tastings.

Tidal Creek Brewhouse, 3421 Knoles St., Myrtle Beach – A whopping 18 craft beers are on the current menu here with Blonde, IPA, Brown Ale, Pilsner, Hefeweizen, Porter and other options available. Located in the heart of The Market Common, additional evening entertainment options abound and are within walking distance.

Crooked Hammock Brewery, 4924 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach – Speaking of microbreweries with plenty of additional entertainment options within walking distance, this Barefoot Landing hotspot boasts a complete array of year-round, seasonal and exclusive rarity offerings. Their products range from 4.5 to 7.4 ABV on the “tipsy” meter; if you’re feeling adventurous, try their Business In The Front Hazy IPA (look for the mullet logo!).

Grand Strand Brewing Company, 819 N. Kings Hwy., Unit 101, Myrtle Beach – This microbrewery established itself quickly as a hot new downtown hangout. Located in the city’s “superblock” district, Grand Strand Brewing Company offers independent craft beer in a unique, vibrant setting that features an outdoor beer garden and regular live music performances.
