This tournament provides players a chance to compete and form new friendships with fellow retired military personnel on several of Myrtle Beach’s best courses. Bringing together retired veterans in a celebration of camaraderie and competition, this tournament highlights the bond between golf and service. With a focus on honoring veterans and providing a platform for enjoyment, the National Retired Military Golf Classic has resonated with both participants and spectators for decades.  The NRMGC kicks off May 28 and runs through June 1.

The Barstool Classic returns to the Myrtle Beach area on March 5th, hosted this year at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.   This is not just your ordinary golf tournament; it’s a fusion of sportsmanship, entertainment, and the unmistakable Barstool Sports flair.  The Barstool Classic not only promises thrilling competition but also celebrates the social aspect of golf, bringing together players from all skill levels. The atmosphere is one of celebration, music, banter, and a general sense of fun, bringing the irreverent and energetic spirit of Barstool Sports to the golf course.

The Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship Presented by LA Golf is back once again at TPC Myrtle Beach, slated for March 1-3. This tournament has become a beacon for aspiring young golfers worldwide, offering a platform to showcase their talents on an international stage.  The significance of this event is heightened by the recent success of three former participants (Nick Dunlap, Akshay Bhatia and Alexa Pano) who have since gone on to win on the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour. This junior tournament serves as premium platform for emerging talents, giving them a taste of high-level competition and the opportunity to follow in their predecessors’ accomplished footsteps.

This event brings together golfers from around the globe, creating a diverse and competitive field where players compete in various handicap division that ensures golfers are pitted against opponents of similar skill. With more than 50 courses hosting this prestigious tournament each year, the World Am showcases the Grand Strand’s beauty both on and off the course, with post-round activities very much in the forefront of the experience. Participants forge lasting friendships and share their passion for golf, revelry and entertainment each night at “The World’s Largest 19th Hole” at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, which will be buzzing with activity each night from August 26-29.

Undoubtedly the pinnacle of the Myrtle Beach golf calendar for each of the next four years, the Myrtle Beach Classic gives the PGA TOUR its long-awaited debut event on the Grand Strand May 9-12.
