Longtime event participant Charlotte Latin captured the team title with a three-day total of 6-under-par 850 (278-293-279) to win the 28th edition of the Keiser University College of Golf Palmetto Championship played this past weekend at Tradition Club, True Blue and Caledonia.
Trailing entering the final round, Charlotte Latin surged past Oceanside Collegiate Academy with a final round of 279 (-9) to secure the championship.
This year’s Palmetto Championship featured 48 teams of five players competing in a 54-hole, collegiate-style format. The championship was conducted across the three aforementioned premier courses, with groups of 16 teams playing each course once throughout the event.
The closing stretch proved decisive, highlighted by Graham Wagner of Charlotte Latin, who holed out from the waste area on the 18th hole for eagle after making birdie on 17, providing a dramatic finish that helped seal the victory.

The championship format—counting the low four scores each round—once again emphasized depth, with multiple teams remaining in contention entering the final day.
On the individual side, Brayden Jones (Mater Dei, ranked #62 by the American Junior Golf Association) delivered a standout performance, earning medalist honors at 14-under-par (65-67-68). The Arizona State verbal commit went wire-to-wire, posting three consecutive under-par rounds across three distinct course styles.
