Course Profile: TPC Myrtle Beach

TPC Myrtle Beach continues to carry on the TPC legacy of a premier property the pros call home.

TPC Myrtle Beach offers a memorable playing experience full of natural wildlife designed by famed architect, Tom Fazio, alongside player consultant, Lanny Wadkins. Opened in 1999, this challenging layout offers everything players look for: beautifully framed holes, meticulous shape and abundant wildlife, with turkey, deer, fox squirrels and numerous types of birds commonly seen every day.

With water in play on 10 holes, every aspect of your game will be challenged – none more than on the final three holes, with water in play off the tee on 16, an island green par 3 17th and a risk/reward par five to finish with water in play the entire length of the 18th.

As a member course of the PGA Tour’s Tournament Players Club network, this championship-proven facility hosted the season-ending 2000 Senior PGA Tour Championship event. TPC Myrtle Beach also had many of the nation’s top collegiate golfers, including current PGA TOUR stars Cameron Young (Wake Forest) and Collin Morikawa (California-Berkeley), compete there in the Myrtle Beach Regional of the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship. Since 2016, it has been the annual host of many of the world’s top scholastic players at the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship.

TPC Myrtle Beach offers the very best of the Grand Strand, a Tom Fazio design, set amongst natural beauty with a relaxed, causal Carolina feel.
