The 72-hole tournament concluded play in style as the 12th annual Style Driver Fall Classic wrapped up its festivities in the Golf Capital of the World® Thursday, as 700 players of all skill levels took on 22 of the best golf courses along the Grand Strand. Golfers competed over 72 holes with a different format each day.
At the end of the week, a lunch was held for all participants at their host course with the top three finishers in all three flights receiving prizes. There were also randomly drawn prizes at the luncheon.
The Fall Classic was a two-person team event with daily formats including Best Ball, Texas Scramble and Scramble/Captain’s Choice. The tournament was scored with net results using a percentage of each player’s handicap.
