The third and final round of the 26th Annual Veterans Classic teed off this morning at eight of the Myrtle Beach area’s most requested golf courses – including Litchfield Country Club, the feature of today’s Round 3 photo gallery.
The 2025 Veterans Classic boasted a field of nearly 1,000 veterans from 38 states and five countries playing in a two-person team event, with varied daily formats for each round of play. Teams were flighted by combined team handicap and assigned to one of the Eisenhower, MacArthur, Nimitz, Franks, Lemay, Westmoreland, Taylor, or Vandegrift flights.
The Veterans Classic has now completed its 26th year with a long history of combining golf, fun and camaraderie. This very special event is all about giving our military friends an opportunity to enjoy a few days of hitting the links and enjoying a special experience fueled by their shared commitment to service and fellowship, whether they’re veterans of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force or Coast Guard.
Eighteen courses were part of this year’s Veterans Classic rotation, with each round’s play conducted simultaneously at eight courses. The 2025 course rotation included Aberdeen, Blackmoor, Colonial Charters, Diamondback, Eagle Nest, Founders Club at Pawleys Island, Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina, Leopard’s Chase, Litchfield Country Club, Lockwood Folly, Long Bay, Prestwick, Rivers Edge, SouthCreek at Myrtle Beach National, Thistle, Wachesaw Plantation East, Wedgefield, and Wild Wing.
