Golf Magazine Ranks Brad Redding Among America’s Top 100 Teachers

Myrtle Beach is where America goes to golf, but with instructors like Brad Redding, it could just as easily be known as where America learns to play golf.

Golf Magazine just released its biennial ranking of America’s Top 100 Teachers and Redding, the owner and director of instruction at Grande Dunes Golf Academy, was again a member of the prestigious list. He has been ranked among America’s Top 100 Teachers since 2001.

Redding’s Grande Dunes Golf Academy students don’t need magazine rankings to validate the quality of the instructor’s work. A keen eye for detecting faults and, just as importantly, the ability to prescribe clear solutions has made Redding a teacher people come from near and far to visit.

Redding’s mission is to help his students become their own best teachers by achieving their short-term goals with an eye on producing long-term results.
 

He works with students to develop control of the ball. By giving cause and effect analogies, coupled with hands on examples, he creates a relationship with his pupils that produce positive results.

As a six-time Tennessee PGA Teacher of the Year, a Golf Channel “Golf Academy Live” and “Your Game Night” instructor, in addition to being a contributor to Golf Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, USA Today and PGA Magazine, Redding has worked with players of all abilities. His trademark “Staying on Plane” philosophy attracts golfers from across the United States and abroad.
