Jackson’s View: A (New) Neighborhood Grill at River Club

Our recent travels to the South Strand in The Golf Capital of the World® took us to a convenient new lunch option: Jackson’s View, the new dine-in restaurant now offered at River Club in Pawleys Island.

Once more focused as a clubhouse concessions offering for golfers at the turn, Jackson’s View today serves the same purpose – but moreover features a complete dine-in experience for golfers and non-golfers alike with a full menu of appetizers, salads, signature flatbreads, sandwiches and paninis, all of which can be complemented with side orders including French fries, cole slaw, onion rings or potato salad.

On this day, we asked the server for her top-of-mind recommendation. She suggested The Grinder, one of Jackson View’s signature paninis that boasts a generous mix of black forest ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, tomatoes, banana peppers and “the juice” on sourdough bread.

(Don’t let the picture fool you; it didn’t last as long as you just viewed it. Simply delicious!)

If your mind’s not on grabbing a bite at the turn, Jackson’s View is now an ideal spot to have a relaxing post-round meal with your beverage of choice – and maybe even catch a ballgame on one of the many new flatscreen televisions now located throughout its dining and cocktail areas.

Either way, Jackson’s View brings a great new reason to include River Club as part of your next Myrtle Beach golf getaway!
