Blair O'Neal: Hi, my name is Blair O'Neal, host of the Golf Buzz, presented
by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. Today I'm with Kim Kelley, Marketing Director
of Barefoot Landing located in North Myrtle Beach, a beautiful shopping and
dining destination. Hi, Kim, thanks for having us today.

Kim Kelly: Thanks for having me.

Blair: Can you tell us a little bit about Barefoot Landing?

Kim: I sure can. Barefoot Landing has over 100 specialty and retail shops.

Blair: Okay.

Kim: That's everything from little boutiques to national chains like iZod,
Van Heusen, Chico's, places like that. We also have about 16 restaurants,
and those are restaurants that you can get pizza, you can get burgers, you
can get seafood, you can get fine dining, including steaks and all kinds of
things. So, there's a little bit of something for everyone there.

Blair: Right.

Kim: We have a lot of attractions, like House of Blues, Alligator
Adventure, Alabama Theater, Ghosts and Legends Theater, and then we have a
lot of special events too.

Blair: Very nice. It sounds like you have something for the whole family
here. Right?

Kim: Exactly. Yes.

Blair: What annual events do you have here?

Kim: Well, we have things like Tastes of the Coasts, which is samplings
from all different brand strand restaurants in our parking lot, and there's
a lot of entertainment and kids' activities. We also have a thing called
the Duck Derby, which is a fundraiser for the North Myrtle Beach Humane
Society, and we do that right on the waterway.

We have other restaurant events, but we always have a lot going on. Our big
event, though, is Summerfest, which starts on June 1st and goes through
Labor Day weekend. That involves fireworks every Monday night, and they're
great to see.

We also have a parade every Wednesday night. We have boardwalk entertainers
every night of the week, so it's just one big summer celebration.

Blair: Is there a website or somewhere they can call in and find out what
events are happening?

Kim: We do have a website. It's barefootlanding.com, pretty simple.

Blair: Okay.

Kim: You can go there and find out more about all of our shops, our
restaurants, and attractions, as well as our hours and more about all the
events that we have.

Blair: Thanks for having us, Kim.

Kim: Thank you.

Blair: When you book your next trip to Myrtle Beach, make sure to stop by
Barefoot Landing. I'm Blair O'Neal and you're watching the Golf Buzz.
