Myrtle Beach Golf Community Allows Group Leaders to Play for Free!

Myrtle Beach has long been golf’s most player-friendly destination, and that reputation is only enhanced by the area’s ongoing initiative that lets group leaders who bring at least 20 players on a Myrtle Beach golf trip play for free.

PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com’s 65 member courses and 50+ golf package providers are all committed to the program.

The Dunes Golf & Club, a classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. design and a consensus top 100 layout, was the course that first brought the national spotlight to Myrtle Beach, and it opened the floodgates for the high-profile properties that followed.

Highlighting the depth and quality of Myrtle Beach’s offerings, Golf Digest recently unveiled its list of South Carolina’s top 20 public courses and 11 of them reside along the Grand Strand.

In addition to the Group Leaders Play Free Program, the Myrtle Beach market has long been committed to helping grow the game via its “Kids Play Free” initiative, which allows children 16 and under to play for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
