Paige Spiranac Plays TPC Myrtle Beach

On a recent visit to the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach golf ambassador Paige Spiranac spent some time at the home of Dustin Johnson’s World Junior Golf Championship, TPC Myrtle Beach.

Playing TPC Myrtle Beach was really fun. It was my first time playing there, but I had seen it on Golf Channel before when they were promoting Dustin Johnson’s junior tournament. It was cool. When you drove in, you see his logo and you’re like, “OK, maybe I’ll play like him today!” (Which was not the case, but it was still fun!)

Hole No. 18 was really pretty, because you’re heading back toward the clubhouse and there’s water all along the left side. It’s a good par 5; I made par there, too!

It was a good golf course. I enjoyed it. It was so beautiful, and feels really secluded when you’re there, which is what I like. You can still see the houses in the background, but you don’t feel like the cars are going by and that there are a lot of distractions. You’re just within the golf course, and I really enjoy that.

The group I was with, they were playing with the squirrels, and the squirrels were eating out of their hands. I personally hate squirrels, so it was like my nightmare (laughing)!
