Photo Gallery: 2024 TRUE Linkswear World Am Q School at Wachesaw East & Rivers Edge
A full field of 390 golfers from 30 states, Canada and Mexico descended upon the Grand Strand this week in their quest for more than $10,000 in prizes as they competed in the 2024 TRUE Linkswear World Am Q School at 12 Myrtle Beach-area courses.
The event was an individual net stroke play competition played over three days and 54 holes, flighted by handicap regardless of gender or age. The top three finishers in each flight received a trophy, with the first- through 10th-place overall finishers earning complimentary and discounted entries into the 2024 PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship in August 2024.
True Blue, Founders Club at Pawleys Island, International Club and the Jones Course at Sea Trail Resort hosted Monday’s opening round play, while Colonial Charters, Thistle, Barefoot-Fazio and Sandpiper Bay welcomed Tuesday’s second round. Rivers Edge, Wachesaw Plantation East, Long Bay and Caledonia rounded out the full course lineup as they hosted Wednesday’s final round.
