Six New Flight Routes to Serve Myrtle Beach This Spring and Summer

As seasonal flight service to Myrtle Beach prepares to resume next month from five major markets, three carriers have announced new nonstop service to the Grand Strand serving six others.

Frontier Airlines, which debuted its Myrtle Beach flights in 2018 with service from Denver, Trenton and Islip, has added Philadelphia to the mix for 2019. Nonstop service between Philadelphia International Airport and Myrtle Beach International Airport begins April 30, with nonstop flights departing on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through August 11.

Spirit Airlines brings three new nonstop flights beginning in May from Indianapolis (May 2), Houston-Intercontinental (May 3) and Kansas City (May 4). Seasonal service runs three days a week from Indianapolis through September 3; twice weekly from Houston-Intercontinental through September 4; and twice a week from Kansas City through September 4.

Allegiant will launch nonstop service beginning in June from Hagerstown, Maryland (June 5) and Albany, New York (June 6). Each route will run twice weekly, with Hagerstown service running through August 11 and Albany flights through August 10.

The new routes add to an ever-increasing stable of airlines and flight routes now serving The Golf Capital of the World, with seasonal service resuming next month from Toronto on Porter Airlines (Feb. 13), and from Detroit (Feb. 14), Philadelphia (Feb. 14), Niagara Falls (Feb. 15) and Latrobe, Pennsylvania (Feb. 15) on Spirit. Service from Chicago-O’Hare, Pittsburgh, Hartford and Cleveland on Spirit returns by mid-March.
