Staff Picks: Top 3 Places for Wings
Are there many things better for a post-round munch than a batch of your favorite wings? Our own Kyle Oland has the skinny on his picks for the top three places along the Grand Strand to get them. Pass the wet naps!

1. If you want legit wings, and I mean giant wings with plenty of sauce and tons of meat, then you have to go to Magoo’s! These aren’t your traditional frozen wings that are gone within two bites. These are a MAN’S wing!
Don’t let the location and hole-in-the-wall appearance sway you from opening the door and walking in. With numerous flavors and enough meat for even the hungriest person, you can’t go wrong. They even have a great special if you dine in! If you purchase two drinks, they will give you wings for just $0.45 apiece. That’s a deal you can’t pass up.
The only catch (and it’s what adds to the mystique of Magoo’s) is that smoking is allowed. If that’s not your thing, just order carry out!

2. If the smoke at Magoo’s keeps you a way, and you are still looking for wings, then head to Hooters. I know what you’re thinking, but for real – go to Hooters, and not just for the view.
For all the attention Hooters gets for its friendly service, the wings are actually quite good! You can find Hooters in Myrtle Beach right off of Business 17 and 38th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
3. Now, if you aren’t into the scene at Hooters and don’t want to deal with the smoke of Magoo’s, head over to Wild Wing Café in Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach.
With a name like Wild Wing, you know the wings must be good! Wild Wing is a great combo of sports bar and family restaurant that offers a wide selection of wings.
If I had to suggest a wing flavor, I’d go with the buffalo. It has a slightly different taste from typical buffalo sauce. Rumor has it the sauce is homemade. If you can get your hands on the recipe, go ahead and take it back home with you to share with your friends and family!
