Staff Picks for Watching the Big Game on Super Sunday

Handley’s Pub & Grub

Where are the best places in Myrtle Beach to watch the Big Game if you’re in town for some golf this weekend? There’s no shortage of options at your disposal along the Grand Strand, but to make Sunday’s post-round choices easier for you, here are some of our personal favorites!

Dave & Buster’s Myrtle Beach (1322 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, 843-945-3500)

The Holy Grail for watching sports! With more TV’s than you can imagine and an endless menu from which to choose, you can’t go wrong with Dave & Buster’s. Located at Broadway at the Beach, Dave & Buster’s is centrally located and is close to many of the area’s top golf courses, hotels and resorts.

Handley’s Pub & Grub (3873 Renee Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579, 843-903-4804)

If you’re playing any of a slew of courses along Myrtle Beach’s Highway 501 corridor, or if you’re just looking for a less touristy spot to settle in for some football action, Handley’s is your go-to! A favorite among the locals in Myrtle Beach and the Carolina Forest area, this bar sports the feel of a classic English pub and features great drink and happy hour specials. And for the Big Game or just about any other occasion, Handley’s is a sure-fire bet to boast a festive atmosphere.

Wild Wing Café (4706 Hwy. 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, 843-361-9464)

Looking for that perfect combo of wings, beer and football? Then Wild Wing Café is just right for you! You’ll find this Buffalo wings haven in popular Barefoot Landing, so if you’re playing any of the Barefoot Resort or other North Strand courses to start the day, there’s no better way to end Super Sunday than with a gigantic basket of wings, a pitcher and the Big Game!

Inlet Sports Bar & Grill (4396 Hwy. 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576, (843) 357-3355)

If you’re playing your morning round anywhere along the South Strand, you’ll want to check out this local favorite. Although it’s more of a down home-type of atmosphere than your typical bigger sports bar, this place still checks all the boxes: plenty of TV’s, great food and cold beer! You won’t be disappointed, but don’t be shocked if the locals try to sway you to becoming a Clemson Tiger or South Carolina Gamecock fan by the time you leave!
