Video: Barstool Sports’ Hannah Cook Begins World Am Championship Quest

Hannah Cook of Barstool Sports’ “Amateur Hour” was in town recently for the kickoff of the 2023 Barstool Classic, fully prepared for the fun and competition in store for the day’s participants. What she wasn’t expecting, though, was a surprise invitation to compete in the largest, most fun and most valuable golf tournament on the planet later this year in “The Golf Capital of the World.”

Scott Tomasello, tournament director for the PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship, came bearing gifts as well that included a sampling of the “swag” each player receives as part of their entry. Hannah was more than eager to accept – and get started right away in her preparation for joining a field of 3,200 golfers from around the globe who’ll be descending upon Myrtle Beach in late August, in pursuit of the chance to be crowned World Champion!

Stay tuned to PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com and its social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok for video updates from Hannah in the coming weeks leading up to the World Am, to see how her game is shaping up in her quest for glory.

And if you haven’t signed up for your shot, don’t wait much longer as more than 2,200 spots have already been filled. Be sure to secure your entry today by visiting the World Am website!
