Sea Trail Golf Resort offers one of the most notable and unique stay-and-play opportunities in the greater Myrtle Beach area. With three championship courses, golfers will discover an endless amount of enjoyable golf to experience. And the Byrd Course at Sea Trail offers players a fantastic golf experience designed by the venerable Willard Byrd.

Beautifully routed around expansive natural lakes, the Byrd Course features 10 of 18 holes with water in play, providing a challenging design with stunning visuals – none more so than those found at the trio of holes you’ll find at 12, 13 and 14. The par-3 12th requires a long carry to this green protected by bunkers and water to the left of the green. The par-5 13th is reachable for the longer hitters, with water in play up by the green. And the slight dogleg left, par-4 14th features water down the entire left side of the hole and small bunkers protecting the front portion of the green.

Signature to the Myrtle Beach area, hundreds of established Carolina pines define constricting tee lines on many of the par fours and fives. This perfect combination of risk-reward holes, challenging par fours and an overall course length measuring just over 7,600 yards from the back tees is sure to appeal to every caliber of player. And with just recently completed bunker restoration, the Byrd Course offers a new look with great Champion Bermuda putting surfaces for golfers each season. With on-site villas, convenience couldn’t be any better to enjoy all three of Sea Trail Golf Resort’s courses.
