Some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment come to Myrtle Beach every year for the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am. Among the stars who enjoyed a trip to the Grand Strand this year were Nancy Lopez, Rick Barry and Chris DiMarco.

Nancy Lopez (LPGA Legend): This is the first time I’ve been to Myrtle Beach. It’s just a great place.

Patrick Davis (Country Music Singer): This is the place. My wife is from Myrtle Beach, so I have a special place in my heart. If you are a golfer, it’s a great place to come.

Chris DiMarco (PGA Tour Player): It’s great to be here. Myrtle Beach is a great place to be.

Rick Barry (NBA Legend/Basketball Hall of Famer): Everybody is nice. That’s the one thing about coming to the south, everyone is so incredibly friendly.

Harold Varner (gGolf.com Tour Player): Myrtle Beach – great golf, beautiful women.

Darron Stiles (PGA Tour Player): It’s a fantastic place to come. I’ve come down the last three winters and played the NGA Tour. I happened to win one here at Barefoot. It’s a great spot to come.
