World Am Q School at Wachesaw Plantation East

The World Amateur Q School wrapped up Wednesday with third-round action at  Caledonia, and Wachesaw Plantation East, as golfers vied for more than $10,000 in prizes including complimentary and discounted entries into the 2021 PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship later this year.

Prizes for this event are awarded in the form of credits for entry into the 2021 Myrtle Beach World Am, with the first-place finisher earning a full complimentary entry into the world’s largest golf tournament, to be contested Aug. 30 – Sept. 3 and including players with indexes ranging from scratch golfers to 36 handicaps. The second-place World Am Q School finisher earns a $300 credit, a $250 credit is awarded for third place, and credits ranging from $200 to $50 are awarded to the fourth- through 10th-place finishers.

Eagle Nest, Pine Lakes and The Pearl hosted Monday’s first-round action, with yesterday’s Round 2 held at Burning Ridge, Prestwick and The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort.
