True Blue Earns AGM Platinum Award at 2023 PGA Show

The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) recognized True Blue Golf Club among the recipients of the 2023 AGM Platinum Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the PGA Show in Orlando, Fla.

True Blue was among AGM’s Top 10 “Best of the Best” winners at its annual ceremony, which honors and recognizes premier golf shops, including public, private, resort, and off-course golf shops worldwide.

The criteria for selection for this prestigious award are based on a combination of factors that include visual displays, customer service initiatives, social media initiatives, shop renovations, promotional ideas, merchandising events, innovative use of fixtures or props, retail initiatives, staff training, and growing the game of golf at their facilities.

Thistle Once More Among GolfPass’ “Top 25 Courses for Best Conditions”

In conjunction with their Golfers’ Choice 2023 Awards, reviewers at GolfPass once again named Thistle Golf Club among the nation’s “Top 25 Courses for Best Conditions.”

Thistle came in at No. 15, up nine spots from their No. 24 ranking in 2022 for this category. GolfPass cited this review quote as part of “What they’re saying”:

“In a week of playing various courses around North Myrtle/Sunset Beach/Little River areas, this was by far the best course we played in terms of conditions and interesting layout with great amenities.”
