Golf.com Readers Vote Myrtle Beach Best in the Business

So when Golf.com, the game’s most popular website, surveyed its readers about all things golf travel, we anxiously awaited the results….

The wait proved worthwhile. 

More than 6,000 people participated in the survey and Myrtle Beach has been awarded:

In all seriousness, everyone in Myrtle Beach is extremely grateful for the recognition from the game’s most important ratings panel – you, the golfer. The Myrtle Beach Wins Several Reader's Choice Awards Including Favorite Golf Desination from Golf.comGrand Strand has always prided itself on providing great golf and value, allowing the destination to appeal to players in search of any level of trip.

As part of the editorial accompanying the Reader’s Choice awards, Joe Passov, Sports Illustrated Golf Group’s travel editor and one of the world’s leading authorities on all things golf travel, wrote: “Two V’s drive Myrtle Beach’s immense popularity: Variety (of golf courses, accommodations, restaurants, shopping, beaches and entertainment venues) and value (there are exceptional options for every budget) … not only an abundance of golf (more than 100 courses) but also an abundance of terrific golf (Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, Barefoot Resort, TPC Myrtle Beach). It’s the rarest of golf destinations, one that is all things to all golfers.”
