America s hottest golfer is coming

America’s hottest golfer is coming to the Golf Capital of the World.

After a nation-wide search, professional golfer and model Blair O’Neal has been selected to host the Myrtle Beach Golf Buzz, an online program that will showcase the virtues of a Myrtle Beach golf trip.

O’Neal, who appeared in a full-page Cobra Puma ad in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, will begin filming the webisodes next week, and the shows will start broadcasting on www.GolfHoliday.com in late February.

“I’m looking forward to bringing viewers inside my Myrtle Beach golf trips,” O’Neal said. “Myrtle Beach is a good-times destination and that will come out during the show.”

O’Neal is no stranger to being in front of the camera.

She was the co-host of Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World of Golf and a two-time participant on Golf Channel’s popular Big Break program. O’Neal has successfully straddled the golf and modeling worlds since graduating from Arizona State, but her profile soared after her Big Break appearances.

She finished second on the Big Break Prince Edward Island – a show hosted by Charlie Rymer, a long-time friend of the Myrtle Beach golf community – and she won the all-star edition of the Big Break in the Dominican Republic.

O’Neal’s popularity now extends far beyond Golf Channel viewers. She is a central part of Cobra Puma’s marketing plans, endorsing the company’s clubs and apparel, and Sports Illustrated named her one of the 50 Hottest Athletes of All-Time.

While O’Neal’s looks understandably garner a lot of attention, she will offer Myrtle Beach Golf Buzz viewers more than a pretty face. She was a four-year standout at Arizona State and won a pair of NCAA long drive contests before graduating as team captain in 2004.

O’Neal will be a full-time member of the 2012 Future’s Tour as well, working to earn a spot on the LPGA Tour.

The Golf Buzz will allow O’Neal to bring the latest happenings on the Myrtle Beach golf scene to players across the nation. The show will feature the Grand Strand’s multitude of quality courses, nightlife, restaurants, golf tips and more.
