So with so many from which to choose, we turned to Willbrook’s longtime general manager and head golf professional, Kevin McGuire, to offer his take on the three that stand out the most.
His choices, in order:

Hole No. 5, one of Willbrook’s most photographed, given its many aesthetic elements. “This is a beautiful golf hole featuring two water hazards, beautiful live oaks, historic remnants, and some of our larger alligators,” says McGuire. No. 5 is a testament to Willbrook’s striking Lowcountry scenery throughout the course, and sets up a memorable back-to-back stretch that continues with …

Hole No. 6 – “Our signature ‘island green’ hole,” McGuire notes. With a memorable golf bridge running along the right, he adds that “No. 6 is surrounded by water on all sides, and tests your club choice and swing.”

Hole No. 15 – Named one of the “100 Greatest Holes Along the Grand Strand” by the Sun News, McGuire says that “this par 5 features an ‘elevated’ fairway approach for your second shot.” This hole is also a classic, prominent example of how golf and Lowcountry wildlife coexist in an idyllic setting.
