Breeze to Grow Myrtle Beach Seats 70 Percent by Summer 2027
Breeze Airways on Tuesday announced 11 new nonstop routes from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), with fares starting from $49* one way.
“This is a huge moment for MYR and the community we serve,” said Judi Olmstead, Director of Airports. “Our community has embraced Breeze since its arrival in early 2024 and these 11 additions brings their nonstop network at MYR to 25 destinations. From the much-anticipated return of Boston and Latrobe to nine other equally exciting cities, there’s so much for our residents and visitors to be excited about. We couldn’t be more pleased to see Breeze grow at MYR.”
“Every route we add to our network starts with the same question: where can Breeze’s direct service bring travelers a convenience they don’t already enjoy today? For Myrtle Beach, the easier question was, ‘where can’t we?’” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO. “These 11 new routes take Breeze to 25 nonstop destinations from the Grand Strand, making affordable travel to and from Myrtle Beach more convenient than ever.”
Effective now, Myrtle Beach travelers can book flights on Breeze to:
“This is exciting news for the residents of the greater Myrtle Beach area and everyone who loves visiting the Grand Strand,” said Stuart Butler, President of Visit Myrtle Beach. “With these new nonstop routes, Breeze is making it possible for more visitors to easily enjoy our beaches and create lasting memories, while giving our residents additional flight options. Breeze’s continued investment into our community also reflects the region’s strength as a destination, boosting our local economy and improving our quality of life.”
Since launching at MYR in February 2024 with a single destination, Breeze has grown quickly in Myrtle Beach. Over the past year, Breeze more than doubled its seats and flights from MYR and carried more than twice as many guests as the year before. With the addition of these 11 routes, Breeze will lead all carriers serving the airport in both destinations served and seats offered by the second quarter of 2027.
