Everyday Heroes of Myrtle Beach Golf: Saige Hollingsworth, Blackmoor

They’re our “Everyday Heroes of Myrtle Beach Golf,” and we’re proud to feature them here to show you what you can expect the next time you visit their courses.

This week’s nomination comes from Blackmoor Golf Club, which submitted a staff member who has already made an enduring impression in her 15 months on the job.

Meet Saige Hollingsworth, as described by Head Golf Professional Brian Boggs.

Hometown: Raleigh, NC

Years of Service at Blackmoor: 1 year, 3 months 

Job Title: Food & Beverage

Responsibilities: Taking care of members/customers with top-level service

On a daily basis Saige gives that Southern Lowcountry hospitality to all customers and members at Blackmoor, whether she’s in the grille or on the beverage cart. Saige is willing to step up and help the operation in any way she is asked.

We believe Saige’s biggest strength is her customer service; she just makes people want to be at Blackmoor and WOW can she mix up a cocktail! Saige also is very strong at sales. I believe she could sell anything she puts her mind to, which benefits Blackmoor tremendously. Since Saige and the newer-hired F&B department staff have been at Blackmoor, the F&B sales are up significantly. Saige also wants to expand F&B in other areas like offering dinners, buffets, and more events, so she’s all about making Blackmoor better.

I could go on for days about Saige but at the end of the day she is just a tremendous asset to the team at Blackmoor, and golfers love to see when Saige is working. Thanks for all you do at Blackmoor, Saige!
