The 2025 E-Z-GO Carolinas PGA Pro-Pro Championship moves to The Golf Capital of the World® this week after being hosted at storied Pinehurst for more than 30 years. The move highlights Myrtle Beach’s growing momentum as one of the country’s premier destinations for competitive golf.
The championship starts today at three of Myrtle Beach’s top courses:
The Carolinas PGA Pro-Pro Championship welcomes 326 PGA of America Golf Professionals and Associates based within the Section for a three-day team event. All competition days will begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
“Bringing this championship to The Golf Capital of the World® is a wonderful opportunity for our community to showcase the magic of a Myrtle Beach golf experience,” said Ryan Cannon, Executive Director of Golf Tourism Solutions. “Carolinas PGA Professionals influence where the golfing public chooses to stay and play, and after this week, we anticipate they will come back to visit with their friends and customers many more times in the future.”
E-Z-GO has served as a proud partner of the Carolinas PGA Pro-Pro Championship for more than 30 years, and this year’s winners will compete for a record-setting purse of $65,000, the largest in the event’s history. As title partner, they are joined this year by presenting partners Evolve Golf and Johnnie-O and supporting partners Glow Vibe Golf, Play Golf Myrtle Beach, OluKai, Tifosi, Heritage Creations, and Fire Maker Brewing Company.
The Carolinas PGA Section remains the largest PGA Section in the United States and one of the most competitive, making the Pro-Pro Championship a marquee event for PGA Professionals across both North Carolina and South Carolina.
