Myrtle Beach’s Best in a Baker’s Dozen: 13 Grand Strand Designs Honored Among Golfweek’s 2023 “Best You Can Play”

Thirteen Myrtle Beach-area designs have been named among Golfweek’s 2023 “Best Courses You Can Play” in their respective states, with The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club earning three of South Carolina’s top five selections and Thistle Golf Club earning a top 10 nod in North Carolina.

Tidewater Golf Club, the Moorland Course at Legends Golf Resort and TPC Myrtle Beach joined the aforementioned Palmetto State designs to give the Grand Strand six of South Carolina’s top 10 selections. King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, The Heritage Club and the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort rounded out Golfweek’s top 20 honorees from 2022 returning to this year’s list, with Grande Dunes Resort Course, the Heathland Course at Legends Golf Resort and the Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort making strong returns to the Golfweek statewide rankings after absences of seven, 11 and eight years, respectively.
