In this short video feature, professional golfer and media personality Paige Spiranac takes a whirlwind tour of some of the Grand Strand’s leading golf and leisure attractions. Here’s what she had to say about her most recent visit.
This is my third time here in Myrtle Beach. Each time that I’ve come, I’ve started to fall in love with it a little bit more every time, the more I’ve seen. I’ve been lucky enough to stay at some of the best hotels in the world, and the marina is beautiful. The accommodations are just right up there with some of the best.
When we got to Caledonia, we turned the corner and it was beautiful with the trees coming over the entrance road.
At Pawleys Plantation, we played No. 13, which was a par three, and it was intimidating because you have the marsh all on the left side. So you kind of just feel like it’s an island green. I luckily hit a good shot, but it was definitely a difficult hole.
It was nice going to the beach yesterday. To get there we drove through what looked like a national park. And then all of a sudden when you turn the corner, there was a beautiful beach!
Chive Blossom was really, really cool. Awesome atmosphere. They had a really diverse menu. It was huge. And they had pretty much anything you could ask for.
I was told that I was going to go on the SkyWheel, and the first time we went around, I was really excited. I starting taking Snapchats and sending it to all my friends. It was just so beautiful and so much fun.
RipTydz was really cool. Everyone seemed to be having a really good time. I know everyone there said they were really enjoying the drinks. It was a really cool hangout spot.
If you want amazing food, great golf courses, great beaches, and if you just want to be around really good people, then come to Myrtle Beach!
