Pinecrest High School (Southern Pines, NC) capped two rounds of stellar play with a 19-under par finish, and was the only team to finish 36 holes in red figures in earning a resounding victory Saturday at the Style Driver Girls High School Palmetto Tournament of Champions at Tradition Golf Club in Pawleys Island, SC.
River Bluff (Lexington, SC) earned a runner-up finish, with Conway (SC) rounding out the top three finishing teams.
Pinecrest’s Ira Joshi followed a first-round 64 with a final-round 65, good for a 15-under par finish in capturing top individual honors. Teammate Ashley Lee finished second (-9), with Chloe Scofield of Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) and Kylie Smith of Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) tying for third at 6-under.



A 36-hole tournament featuring championship teams from North Carolina and South Carolina, participants were invited to play for no entry fee to either the schools or individuals, thanks to the sponsorship generosity of Style Driver. Participating schools included:
