Reliving a Day With Dustin Johnson: NC’s Ricky Wynn Won’t Forget His First Trip to Myrtle Beach

What was your reaction to finding out you had won the trip? Indescribable. I was elated, happy, it was awesome.
How did you decide who would join you? I knew the first person I was going to bring was my neighbor (Chris Dellinger) across the street. We are very good friends and then my other guys were my cousins Toby Bevins and Josh Renpher.
How was the experience? Phenomenal. First class. We enjoyed everything.
How was playing with Dustin? I was nervous. My knees were knocking, I had to take a step back, take a deep breath and told myself, just hit it. I hit a bad shot in front of him but it was awesome. I enjoyed watching him swing.
What was the highlight of the trip? Being with my buddies, getting to play the other two courses (River Club and Willbrook), and being at TPC Myrtle Beach (with Dustin) was phenomenal.
Where else did you play? Willbrook, River Club
Have you been on a Myrtle Beach golf trip before? No, this is my first time and I’m ready to come back already. It’s beautiful down here. I’m definitely coming back
What is the one story you will tell everyone about the trip? Watching my cousin chip-in in front of Dustin Johnson for eagle. That was awesome. He couldn’t believe he did that in front of Dustin.
