Rymer’s Reasons: House of Blues Myrtle Beach

In this episode, PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com’s Charlie Rymer takes us for an inside look at one of the Grand Strand’s most popular dining/entertainment combination options: House of Blue Myrtle Beach, located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

One of my favorite things about Myrtle Beach is the House of Blues, because who doesn’t like a little rock and roll, baby?

So it’s Friday night. You’ve got to show up to the House of Blues early and you better show up hungry because they’ve got some good chow in the restaurant.

You’ve got to give the Voodoo Shrimp a try to start things off or, my personal favorite, the Juicy Lucy Burger. They’ve got jalapeños, bacon and provolone all wrapped up in that. It’s beautiful. Come on, let’s give it a shot!

Myrtle Beach comes up huge in the world of music. In fact, it has its own brand of beach music, the Shag, an iconic dance that got its start here and so did the country group Alabama. On any given night you’re at the House of Blues, you can catch a top act from across the globe. So grab a drink and enjoy the show.

I’m Charlie Rymer in my hometown, Myrtle Beach, where we’ve got something for everybody.
