PGA Tour stars Jim Furyk and Billy Horschel, pro football legends Bruce Smith and Jonathan Ogden and basketball standouts Rick Barry, Shane Battier and Spud Webb headlined the 2015 Monday After the Masters field.
The event, which is the largest single-day fundraiser in South Carolina and one of golf’s premier charity events, was played on Barefoot Resort’s Dye Course for the 13th consecutive year. Prior to the start of the tournament, ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike Show broadcast live from the first tee for the fifth consecutive year.
Other headliners that joined Mark Bryan, Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, Dean Felber and Darius Rucker were Super Bowl winning quarterback Jim McMahon, NASCAR star Denny Hamlin, comedian Larry the Cable Guy and musicians Josh Kelley, Javier Colon, Aaron Lewis and Edwin McCain, among many others.
Among the professional golfers that joined Furyk and Horschel were Harris English, Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey, Charlie Rymer, and Woody Austin.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which supports the educational needs of children in South Carolina and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation through a fully funded endowment.
