Everyday Heroes of Myrtle Beach Golf: Rick Falcone, Blackmoor Golf Club

A big part of a great golf experience in The Golf Capital of the World® is when the staff you meet at our courses go above and beyond to make it special. They’re our “Everyday Heroes of Myrtle Beach Golf,” and we’re proud to feature them here to show you what you can expect the next time you visit their courses.

This week’s nomination comes from Blackmoor Golf Club, which submitted a staff with more than two decades of course experience for consideration.

Rick does whatever he can to make the customers’ time at Blackmoor enjoyable. He is thorough in the way he goes over all the details of the course that golfers should know including how to play, the rules in effect, navigating the cart’s GPS system, telling everyone the day’s specials and that the beverage cart will be making the rounds on the course (Rick also informs all customers that Blackmoor has the best Bloody Mary’s on the Grand Strand!).

Aside from his everyday position Rick plays a huge part in our tournament operations, and volunteers to help even if it’s his day off.  He comes in to help stage the tournament and provide exceptional service to the customer.

Basically, Rick just tries to create an enjoyable experience and goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer and members. Rick is a staple of our operation at Blackmoor, and in my opinion the best starter in the Myrtle Beach area.
