Grande Dunes Resort Club, one of Myrtle Beach’s most acclaimed layouts, will undergo an extensive greens, bunker and clubhouse renovation project this summer, led by architect John Harvey, who worked with Roger Rulewich on the original design and construction of the course.

The 39th Annual PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship will begin accepting entries Tuesday, March 22. A 72-hole, net stroke play tournament, the World Am will be played Aug. 29 – Sept. 2 on more than 50 of Myrtle Beach’s best courses, and 3,500 players from across the world are again expected to participate in golf’s largest single-site event.

The par-3 15^th hole at Man O’ War Golf Club in Myrtle Beach has joined select company in this collection, included with holes from PGA West, East Lake, Secession and other prominent island green holes from throughout America and Mexico.
