Play Golf Myrtle Beach has teamed up with Aaron Chewning, the co-founder of St. Andre Golf, to launch a fresh and innovative video series, “Course Cases with Aaron Chewning.” In Episode 4, Aaron discovers first-hand just how much water you can experience on a golf course – in this case, at the Dan Maples-designed Man O’ War Golf Course. The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic will again host a Horry County Schools (HCS) Day from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on April 14, where more than 250 high school students majoring in marketing, culinary services, hospitality and turf management will receive a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at what’s involved in running a PGA TOUR event. The professional golf event will be contested May 8-11 at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club.

The late Pete Dye is an iconic figure in architecture circles and while his brother, P.B. Dye, doesn’t enjoy the same acclaim, he has designed more than a few memorable tracks. The Auburn University men’s golf squad made an emphatic statement Tuesday in winning the 2025 General James Hackler Championship Presented by Carolina Wealth Advisors at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, lapping a strong field that included six of the top 50 teams in the NCAA Division I men’s collegiate rankings.
