Frontier Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service to Denver, Islip, Trenton

Myrtle Beach has added its 10th airline carrier and opened golf’s most popular destination to a new part of the country.

Frontier Airlines, a low-cost carrier, will launch service to Myrtle Beach from three destinations – Islip (N.Y., airport code ISP), Trenton, (N.J., airport code TTN) and most notably, Denver (DEN) – in May. With the new service, Myrtle Beach now enjoys nonstop service from 45 destinations and 10 airlines, most in South Carolina.

Frontier is offering special introductory fares that begin at $39.

Trenton and Islip have long been strong feeder markets, and the addition of Denver will provide golfers from the Mountain West easy access to Myrtle Beach.

The Denver service, which begins May 23 and will fly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, will leave the Mile High City at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in Myrtle Beach at noon, leaving ample time for an afternoon round. The return flight will depart Myrtle Beach at 12:45 p.m.

Frontier’s service out of Trenton begins on May 21 and will fly Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, leaving New Jersey at 1:31 p.m. and arriving in Myrtle Beach at 3:25 p.m. The return flight will leave the Grand Strand at 4:10 p.m., providing ample time for a day of departure round.

The flight out of Islip begins May 20 and will leave at 11:40 a.m. and arrive at 1:21 p.m. With 10 courses located with 10 miles of the airport, golfers will have the opportunity to squeeze in a quick round upon arrival. The return flight to Islip will leave at 2:16 p.m. The Islip service will fly on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
