Photo Gallery: 2023 World Am Q School at Burning Ridge

More than 400 golfers from 34 states, Canada and Mexico have descended upon the Grand Strand this week in their quest for more than $10,000 in prizes as they compete in the 2023 World Am Q School at 12 Myrtle Beach-area courses.

The event is an individual net stroke play competition played over three days and 54 holes, flighted by handicap regardless of gender or age. The top three finishers in each flight receive a trophy, with the first- through 10th-place overall finishers earning complimentary and discounted entries into the 2023 PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship in August 2023.

Burning Ridge, International Club, Shaftesbury Glen and the Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University hosted Monday’s rounds with True Blue, Sandpiper Bay, Wachesaw Plantation East and The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort set to welcome Tuesday play. Eagle Nest, Caledonia, Rivers Edge and Founders Club at Pawleys Island round out the full course lineup as they host Wednesday’s final round.
