Play Golf Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Championship Hosted by the Bryan Bros Set for May 7 at PopStroke Myrtle Beach

The Myrtle Beach Classic isn’t the only new tournament coming to the Grand Strand. The Play Golf Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Championship hosted by the Bryan Bros will be held May 7 at PopStroke, the area’s most popular new attraction.

The Play Golf Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Championship will feature adult and junior divisions. Cost of entry is $90 and the field will be limited to the first 50 two-person teams that register. Adult teams will consist of two players 18 years of age and older, while junior teams must include at least one participant under 18 years old.

Entry into the tournament will include PopStroke play, one general admission ticket to the Myrtle Beach Classic per player, a soft drink, and the opportunity to meet the Bryan Bros.

With more than 300,000 YouTube subscribers, 250,000 followers on Instagram, and 60,000 fans on TikTok, the Bryan Bros – Wesley and George – are among golf’s most popular social media influencers, and they are the Official Ambassadors of the Myrtle Beach golf community. George has accepted a sponsor exemption into the Myrtle Beach Classic and will be making his second career PGA TOUR start.

Following a runner-up finish at the Corales Puntacana Championship, Wesley, a one-time winner on the PGA TOUR, is nearing the top 100 in the 2024 FedEx Cup standings. 

The tournament will also be the official kick-off of Visit Myrtle Beach’s Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Trail. The Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Trail is a unique new way to explore more than 30 miniature golf courses in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Visit Myrtle Beach created a digital golf pass, which includes more than 30 Myrtle Beach-area mini golf courses. Through the digital pass, players will be able to check-in at participating courses, earn points and compete for prizes!

PopStroke brings a new spin to mini-golf, swapping the windmills and waterfalls with next-generation technology and custom-designed courses. The PopStroke mobile app allows players to order drinks for on-course delivery while keeping score electronically. PopStroke locations boast two 18-hole putting courses, jumbotrons, and large TVs throughout the property, complemented by lively bars and a full-service scratch restaurant. Beyond the greens, PopStroke provides additional amenities, including an ice cream parlor, a playground, and an array of outdoor games like cornhole and foosball.

The Myrtle Beach Classic will be played May 6-12, 2024, at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club. The tournament will feature a purse of $3.9 million with 300 FedEx Cup points awarded to the champion.
