The guys from The Golf Podcast presented by Golficity, Mike Fasano and Frank Fasano, made their first-ever Myrtle Beach golf trip an epic experience: six rounds in four days, based on course recommendations made by Grand Strand golf experts who helped tailor selections to their game and interests. It’s all part of Golficity’s upcoming six-part video series that debuts in July 2023, highlighting “Golf Town USA – The Best of Myrtle Beach.”

More than 110 players teed it up Monday at Lockwood Folly for first-round action of the 2023 Golf Trek Challenge, being contested by two-person teams for 54 holes this week at three North Strand courses.

As part of a major, ongoing course enhancement project, Thistle Golf Club in Sunset Beach, N.C. has been installing the PermaEdge Sod Bunker System throughout the award-winning design – transforming many of its sand traps in a visually stunning new way.
