The 2026 Veterans Classic boasted a field of more than 700 veterans traveling in from states and countries throughout the globe, each playing in a two-person team event with varied daily formats for each round of play. Teams were flighted by combined team handicap and assigned to one of the Eisenhower, MacArthur, Nimitz, Franks, Lemay, or Westmoreland flights.

Following its late 2025 reopening, the Maples Course at Sea Trail Golf Resort is enjoying a highly successful rollout this peak spring golf season of the course’s latest and greatest features. The course enhancements come after an extensive renovation that began in earnest after the course’s temporary closing in May 2025.

PGA TOUR Studios and Play Golf Myrtle Beach proudly present “More Than Qualified,” a groundbreaking documentary following professional golfer and content creator Ryan Ruffels.

After securing a sponsor exemption by winning The Q at Myrtle Beach, Ruffels was followed by PGA TOUR Studios film crews to document his mental and physical preparation for his return to the PGA TOUR for his first TOUR start since the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open. The documentary provides unprecedented access, featuring Ruffels mic’d up during every competitive round of the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

PGA TOUR Studios and Play Golf Myrtle Beach (PGMB) are proud to announce the debut of “More Than Qualified,” a groundbreaking documentary following professional golfer and content creator Ryan Ruffels. The documentary premieres Wednesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. ET on the PGA TOUR YouTube channel and offers a raw, behind-the-scenes look at Ruffels’ transition from the YouTube creator space back to the highest level of professional golf competition. The American-born Australian, who turned professional in 2016 at age 17, has 73K subscribers on YouTube, 122K followers on Instagram and 7K followers on X.

The golf world has truly embraced the champion of the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, Brandt Snedeker, as a feel-good story for multiple reasons: first win in eight years on TOUR, overcoming injuries, competing at a high level at age 45, the list goes on.

The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic will return to the PGA TOUR schedule on May 13–16, 2027, with The Dunes Golf & Beach Club serving as host for a fourth consecutive year. The 2027 tournament dates mark a one-week shift later on the calendar compared to the event’s first three editions, which were held during the first full week of May.
