If you’d like to get involved with the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, scheduled from May 6-10 at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, here’s your chance. New volunteer registration is now open at MyrtleBeachClassic.com and will stay open until all positions are filled. Returning volunteers may still sign up at any point.

Tickets for the PGA TOUR’s upcoming ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic will be available for purchase at 9 a.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 9. Tickets can be purchased by visiting myrtlebeachclassic.com.

The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic will be held on May 7-10, 2026, at Dunes Golf and Beach Club. The dual-field tournament will again be one of 36 events on the FedEx Cup regular season schedule for 2026. The 2025 event was won with a dramatic chip-in by Ryan Fox in a three-way playoff this past May.

The Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship team traveled to Three Ridges Golf Course in Knoxville, Tennessee, to formally honor 2025 World Champion Scott Collette with an onsite trophy presentation at his home course.

Dozens of family members, friends, and fellow members of the Three Ridges community gathered to recognize Collette’s outstanding achievement at the 2025 Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship in The Golf Capital of the World^®. The event marked a proud moment for both Collette and his home club, celebrating his triumph over a field of nearly 3,000 competitors from across the globe.

Making his third career PGA TOUR start and first as a professional, 2018 Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship winner Michael Brennan became the fourth DJ World Junior champion to win a PGA TOUR or LPGA Tour event. Brennan’s emphatic, 4-stroke triumph Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship at Black Desert in Ivins, Utah also earned him the distinction of becoming the first player to win a TOUR event on a sponsor exemption since 2021 DJWJ champion Nick Dunlap accomplished the feat last year at the American Express.

Angelo’s Steak and Pasta has been voted the 2025 Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur People’s Choice Restaurant of the Year. The announcement was made Wednesday at Angelo’s Steak and Pasta (2311 S. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach).

Fewer than 100 spots are still available for golfers of all skill levels as the 12^th annual Style Driver Fall Classic returns to the Golf Capital of the World® Nov. 17-20, welcoming 700 players of all skill levels to 22 of the best golf courses along the Grand Strand. Golfers will compete over 72 holes with a different format each day. At the end of the week, a lunch will be held for all participants at their host course with the top three finishers in all three flights receiving prizes. There will also be randomly drawn prizes at the luncheon. 

We know we’re fresh off another fantastic run with the 41^st Annual Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship, but it’s never too early to start your planning for next year! So be sure to SAVE THE DATES for your return trip to “The Golf Capital of the World® – Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, to take part in a world-class tournament capturing the one-of-a-kind magic of the Myrtle Beach golf experience!

Ryan Fox accepted the winner’s trophy at the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, but he wasn’t the only winner at the area’s second-year PGA TOUR event, which again showcased The Dunes Golf & Beach Club as a worthy host site. In addition, nine local charities shared $225,000, with seven of those receiving at least $26,750.

Pinecrest High School (Southern Pines, NC) capped two rounds of stellar play with a 19-under par finish, and was the only team to finish 36 holes in red figures in earning a resounding victory Saturday at  the Style Driver Girls High School Palmetto Tournament of Champions at Tradition Golf Club in Pawleys Island, SC.
