Project Golf’s “An Introduction to Golf” program at Legends Golf Resort was a perfect entry point for the Grand Strand Young Professionals to get more comfortable with the game and, in turn, integrate it more effectively as part of their networking efforts. Grand Strand Young Professionals’ Caroline Murray and Project Golf’s Gene Augustine offered thoughts on how the program is helping.

Paige Spiranac’s last trip to King’s North at Myrtle Beach National didn’t just include playing its three most-famous holes. Here, in one of her recent course vlogs, she also showcases each of the Arnold Palmer design’s first four holes on the front nine, and offers some playing and course management tips along the way!

During her recent visit to the Grand Strand, Paige Spiranac took on Arnold Palmer’s famed King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, including its three most memorable holes: the par-5 No. 6 known as “The Gambler,” the island green par 3 at No. 12, and the par-4 18th with 40 bunkers challenging her from tee to green.

The Gene’s Dream Foundation honors the legacy of Gene Weldon, a legendary mentor who introduced countless youth to the game of golf and taught them how to love it. Hear from Gene’s Dream Chair Wil Weldon and Executive Vice President Kelly Tilghman on the Foundation’s latest efforts to grow the game in Gene’s memory, including a full slate of fundraising events held Oct. 25-26 at Surf Golf & Beach Club and Tidewater Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Not only is Legends Golf & Resort hosting nearly 300 active and retired law enforcement officers this week for the National Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial Golf Classic, the staff also hosted a special ceremony Monday to honor these men and women. Hear from Legends Golf’s Bradley Vaughan on the efforts behind this event.

As part of the Dream Weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to support the Gene’s Dream Foundation, golf broadcaster and Gene’s Dream Executive Vice President Kelly Tilghman was joined by World Golf Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez. In keeping with the Foundation’s Mentor Cup festivities this weekend, Nancy opened up to Kelly about how her father served as the pivotal mentor figure in her life – and also offered insight on her competitive drive, her biggest victories, and how much the Solheim Cup has meant to her.
