As golfers prepare for their Second Season golf getaway to the Grand Strand this fall, Myrtle Beach-area courses are primed and ready for visitors. Our “eye in the sky” saw great conditions at courses along the Highway 9 corridor including Diamondback at Woodland Valley, Crown Park and Aberdeen.

We took Charlie Rymer over to the Moorland Course at Legends Golf Resort to hang out with PGA Head Professional Matt Biddington. “The Big Timer” got a dose of Matt’s long game off the tee as they played No. 3. We think they had a pretty good time.

As we head into Golf’s Second Season, courses throughout the Grand Strand have already rounded into peak form in anticipation of its fall visitors. Today, our camera caught these scenes at the Arthur Hills-designed PineHills Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club.

All but seven Myrtle Beach-area golf courses have now resumed operations since Hurricane Dorian swept by the Southeast region late last week, with the entire market expected to be at full operating capacity by mid-week.
