Nine local social service charities have been selected to receive a grant from revenue generated by the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic, scheduled May 6-12 at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, meaning the event will not only showcase the Grand Strand but also benefit the area. A total of $225,000 will be allocated for 2024.

Pawleys Plantation General Manager Riley Kinlaw offers his thoughts on the biggest differences visiting golfers will now experience when they play the newly renovated Jack Nicklaus design, shared over a hole-by-hole comparison of “before” and “after” imagery.

Asking folks which Myrtle Beach golf course is their favorite is akin to asking about your favorite ice cream. We all have different preferences, and the margins are thin. There are courses that are at or near the top of many lists, most especially Grande Dunes Resort Course, Tidewater Golf Club, Thistle Golf Club and TPC Myrtle Beach.

Travelers looking for access to the “Mile-High City” this summer will have even more options, thanks to newly announced flights on United Airlines. Beginning May 25, United will operate flights between the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) and Denver International Airport (DEN) on Saturdays.
